Playing cards and leather case for Snow Peak USA.
Launched in September of 2022 at the US headquarters in Portland Oregon, and were made available at the new Brooklyn, NY store after their relocation in October.
Deriving from a crude notebook sketch and extensive product research, the playing cards evolved into detailed hand drawn illustrations representing some of the brand’s most beloved gear. The leather case was created in collaboration with Dark Forest USA leather goods right here in Portland Oregon.

This year the focus of Time Space Existence surrounded the emergence of sustainable practices in landscape architecture and urban design. The forest we created highlights student and faculty projects through laser etching, a subtractive method of make, into large wooden columns that hold the small scale models within. Each column was designed to be lightweight, and to pack flat, as the final step of assembly was completed in Italy.

Custom packaging for Taskshade’s three new products. Summer of 2022.
This project replaced the company’s plastic and foam board packaging with 100% compostable materials. The new design significantly cut weight, and shrunk the external size, while still improving structural integrity of the original box. The new look includes a visual instructional guide printed on the box lid interior, laser cut details to hold complex parts, and a bottom layer to tightly secure a ten pound base.
Cubicle, a stackable desktop organizer for displaying and storing tools and stationary.
Designed for creatives, the body functions as a bin, hiding clutter, while the lid displays smaller items. Each cubicle is stackable, taking advantage of a desktop's vertical space. By stacking the bins in different orders, removing lids, or tucking everything away, the set becomes modular, and customizable. The bins also work as standalone pieces, and continue to function on their own.
WINTER 2021
The Chimney Swift is currently a species of conservation concern.
Originally nesting in hollowed trees, the Swift adapted to roosting in chimneys as a result of deforestation and urbanization. However, modern homes are now more likely to have capped chimney tops to keep wildlife out. With a decline in safe nesting habitats, the Chimney Swift population has plummeted in the last decade.
Swift Stack is a support system to be placed along the migration path of swifts in Northern America. The elevation and protection provided by these shelters allows for the swifts to rest at night after days of feeding and flight.
Standing at fifteen feet tall, Swift Stack is constructed of multiple layers of wood perched on steel support beams. The vertical exterior slats create a living wall for native plants, and the uneven inner wall provides grip for the swift’s upright roosting.
Warbler is a 3D printed liquid soap dispenser intended to mimic the silhouette of a bird.
Engaged by gently lifting the tail upwards, the liquid soap pours out of the small space in its beak. The weighted tail of the form then slowly rocks the bird back into place. The interior walls of Warbler were designed to allow soap to flow directly to the spout without pooling in the chest.

Telt is an outdoor structure that emphasizes domestic use through the lens of childhood play.
Inspired by my interest in building forts growing up, the structure mimics a whimsical space for leisurely activities. Telt is recycled from salvaged and upcycled lumber from Sustainable Northwest Wood in Portland Oregon, and stands at 8’ tall and 8’ wide. The structure is accompanied by two poly-blend seat cushions, a canvas cover, and an adjustable gauze cotton shade.
